Strangeness in Arizona

We stumbled onto Stewart's Historic Route 66 Trading post/store/strange museum thing, on our way to California. At first glace you might say "this is a cool place" then after looking around a bit you might think it's kinda strange, then you come to the realization that you would NOT want to be here after dark! There are several mannequins on the property posed in decaying cars, getting eatten by freakish cartoon like dinosaurs, riding dinosaurs, sitting in chairs, etc. I noticed a couple of rotting cow skulls w/hair and flesh still attached right at the entrance of the building along with car batteries, trash cans and other odd junk. It was weird, but we got some cool pics and blazed!

Las Vegas was a "BLUR" seriously it was like 3am and we were delirious!

On the road from Austin to Frisco

After many hours behind the wheel I was bored, tired and losing my mind!
Arriving to New Mexico at sunrise was a inspiring and surreal experience, with Radiohead's In Rainbows as the sound track this was my favorite part of the drive.

Fire at the Retreat!

This fire busted out right across from our apartment!!!!
Thanks to the Austin Fire/Rescue teams this fire was safely contained.
Unfortunatly 18 apartments were damaged or totaled in the fire.

Hidden Treasure

I had passed this book store several times without a second look, until a freind of mine told me "I think you'd like this store". He was right, I so could have spent a small fortune here. visiting Domy was a cool, relaxing and inspiring experience. Respect the art!
